This week, Representative Jasper Martus visited Clio Elementary School to celebrate March is Reading Month with our third graders! He stopped by each classroom to read Thank You, Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco and talk with students about the story’s message.
He also shared what he does as a representative, gave a little refresher about the Capitol (our third graders visited in November!), and talked about the kinds of books he enjoys reading. The kids loved hearing from him and were reminded how fun and important reading can be!

We celebrate the uniqueness, strengths, and contributions of individuals with Down syndrome and continue to promote a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and kindness across our schools.
