CHS threat was in New Mexico - NOT CLIO

Despite the arrest of a New Mexico teen on April 5 in connection with social media threats made against a high school there with the initials CHS, continued sharing and/or reposting of that original Snapchat post has alarmed some parents, students and law enforcement at schools across the country with those same initials, such as Clio High School. Clio's school resource officer has investigated the situation and confirms the threat was specific to a New Mexico high school and has NOTHING TO DO WITH CLIO HIGH SCHOOL.
Officials are urging students and others not to repost or share threatening social media posts, warning of the dire and criminal consequences of doing so. Instead, you are encouraged to report any suspicious posts to law enforcement as we all strive to keep our schools safe for students and staff, alike.
