Welcome to Clio Area Schools

Clio Area Schools is located in northern Genesee County, Michigan and is recognized as the premiere public school district in the area.  As “Leaders in Educational Excellence,” the district provides a high- quality education with diverse options for some 3,000 students annually.

The district includes Clio Early Elementary, Edgerton Elementary (K-3), Lacure Elementary (K-3), Clio Intermediate School (4-5), Clio Middle School (6-8), Clio High School (9-12), and Clio Community High School which also includes Clio Community Education and the Clio Home-School Partnership.

In addition to its strength in traditional academics, Clio is repeatedly earning honors for its music and arts programs, athletics, and multiple dual enrollment options.  It is currently undergoing major renovations, enhancements and construction of new facilities, thanks a $40-million bond issue approved by our supportive community in May 2020.
